Murendi Properties & Building Supplies (“Murendi”) was established in 2008 at Thohoyandou, Limpopo province in Southa Africa as a retail hardware store specializing mainly roofing materials.
The company identified opportunities and diversified into manufacturing and retailing concrete roof tiles and related building materials. The company also sells few selected building material products like cement, bricks, electrical, paints, etc.
With a strong presence in the Vhembe District, Murendi operates one concrete roof tile manufacturing plant, Seven hardware stores, and a distribution warehouse in Thohoyandou. With its distribution outlets the company can reach out to potential customers in and around Vhembe district areas.

We aim to open new stores every four months while maintaining at least 80% target attainment across all branches. Underperforming stores will receive structured support through our Business Development Unit to align with company standards. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence and digital marketing, Murendi will enhance customer engagement, strengthen its market presence, and deliver lasting value to the communities we serve.
